Wowed!

WOW I jsut went on our family Blog. I am been MIA since August of 2010. GEz I new i was a long time but 2010 yikes I guess I will have to reinform people that we have this and that I am going to try to be a bit more diligent about posting. I STILL CANT BELIEVE it has been so long.

Almost all Grown UP

Yesterday Trev and I made a trip to Safety First driving school to pick up his papers to go and get his temps for driving. It took us all of about 15 minutes tops at the DMV to obtain this very important pieve of plastic. Trev was a bitnervous cause he kept telling me how we needed to make sure to tell them we are jsut getting his temps and that he already took the test so he wouldn't have to take it again. Although he didn't get any wrong so I don't know waht he was so worried about. Of course mom had to snaps some pics and those who notived jsut smirked like Ooooooooooo that is so cute. We headed out and to the DMV sign for the official pic. He didn't mind at all cause he made the comment that this was a very big event in his life. Ya like it wouldn't of mattered I still would of made him take pics anyway. LOL From the parking lot he proceeded to drive for the next 2.5 plus hours. We went ALL around the neighborhood, made a trip to Grama Dorothys. It then hit me that he was actually driving and I started to ball out of nowhere. Fromt here he decided he needed a fruit smoothie from McDonalds where he parked rather well and we went in seeing as though I don't know if I really wanted to chance hitting the drive thru apperatice. We headed home where he parked in the drive due to my car was in the garage and I thought maybe that would of been a bit much the first day to squeeze in. Pete came home heard all the excitement and we then had our new chauffer take us to walmartto buy him a new wallet for his new piece of gold.

Orions Very 1st Photo Album

Kev, Beck and Orion came to Ky's West Bend Tourney for Baseball. I of course brought a few things for my favorite little munchkin. I had some extra photos and thought it would be fun to make Orion his own little photo album. I filled it with some of his Aunt MiMi and her family, with some of the holmes side grams and cousins, our friends Jen (Auntie Evil) & Jase, Random my boys, his mommy and daddy, the SAUSAGES him,mommy and daddy from our brewer visit. Last BUT not least his favorite UNCLE PETE! He said THANK YOU AUNTIE DAWN, Thank you very much. He loved looking at it and keep naming people and kept going back to those sausages.

Ky's 8th Grade Graduation

I know it is into the summer, but since I have neglected the blog yet again for a bit I thought I would add some old but new news. These are from Ky's 8th grade (moving on) ceremony as Pete calls it. This year it was in the morning which sucked. Pete was unable to make it since he was running a big job at Concordia College. Usually it is at abround 8 PM this time it was 8AM :( . It was about an hour and so I could fit in into my schedule since it was the last week of school. My camera was not working like I wanted it to due to the lighting. OF course that pissed me off but what cha gonna do. Here is the big guy. The most important one of Ky on stadge accepting his moving on certificate LOL is screwed up, but i put it on anyway.

My baby is gonna be a big FRESHMAN next year.

Holmes Vs Brewers

May 16th Gram Barb Planned a Bobble head outting for the Brewer Game. Suprisingly it was a pretty good day weather wise. Everyone brought food and it was all very yummy especially Auntie Aprils Indian Chili It was a hit with everyone well wiht the exception of Ky but that should not be a suprise. Orion I would say had a well rounded learning day. From reading to Sports and then learning the number eight on the ground. Auntie Dawn came bearing a few gifts and the Steve Maqueen Book was the hit out of all. Gram read to him, Trev read to him Ky played ball along with most the rest of us. Towards the end of the parking lot affairs Auntie Dawn saw a number eight and played a game with asking O to stand in the eight. I couldn't of gotten a cuter pic of that.. Inside we got a bobble head and Auntie Dawn got 47 so when O got a bit bored we busted one out and Auntie Dawn and O proceeded to behead it ( sorry no pics cause I was holding). But Mommy got a movie of it. He loved slammin the head around and and learning all he different parts of the statue. The Sausage Race came and of course Orion was jump out of his seat excited. He got a bit ansty and The Younger Holmes famiy took off after the older holmes family we had gram so we stayed longer. A walk to the car a forever away it seemed and off to home we went to get the guys in bed for school the next morning. A big success Gram Barb.
