It's Been a LONG time
Boy I guess I didn't realize how long it has been since I entered a post for our Blog.
The last one was in April of 2009 EEEsh
Anyway we have had lots and lots going on. I thought I would attempt to try to keep updated again with this so our friends and family can check in and keep up with our hustle and bustles.
The boys are not really boys anymore, but young men who are growing up WAY to fast for their mom. Trev is now in 9th going to be a sophmore this coming school year and Kyle will be a big Freshman. Both boys are doing well in school and are not only progressing in grades and achedemics, but have crazy busy schedules for all their activities. Kyle is now done with Forensics and has his Baseball and soccer right now. Trev just finished his Drivers Ed classes and is into Weight lifting and track right now. Between practices and games for the two we are nonstop running. This combined with Pete and I starting a new workout routine and trying to fit that in daily plus just plain ole reg life.... ya know us working, shopping for food, cleaning, laundry, yard work, and whatever else life seems to throw at us.
Soooooooooo In December we sadly lost our Gramp Bill 4 days before X-Mas made it a bit hard. Gram Gen found out she had ovarian cancer and had surgery and treatment only to find out in about April that she has mouth cancer. She recently had surgery last week for that and it was very involved taking part of her tounge and all her lymph nodes on the right side. The Doctor feels confident that he got it all. So now it will just be a long process to help her regain speech and good health. She is a Strong woman and know she will yet again come out on top.
On a bit of a sadder note our Pup Hampton of 10 years became sick and we took him to the vet about 2 1/2 weeks ago to find out he had cancer. He wasn't eating or drinking and was becoming more sick. Friday morning the 14th I went to be with him as he faded from pain as he feel asleep in my lap. Although we know he is better off it is still very hard to not have him around. We decided not to recieve him back, but got a very nice rememberance from the vet of a plaster paw print of his.
I am going to try to keep this updated in between all of our travels
