This year Ky is more into the outside. He goes sometimes just to hang out with friends or without just chillin. Well the other day I saw him out of the front room window and he just lookd so cute doing whatever. I rana nd got my camer and he after awhile saw me. So I caught some without him knowing and then of course he was willing to pose. ( Well he has learned from birth to pose, smile and stay still while My mental Mom snaps shots).

Mom's Side at the Holmzez

We took a group pic and there was something missing. Dessie was with her Dad's side of the family staying at her Gram Carrie's. We missed not having her with us, and she missed us cause she called and wanted to talk to most of us or whoever wasn't busy at the time. All of us bought for the kids. The adults were not supposed cause money was tight this year. I couldn't help myself to give Gram & Gramp a gift. Some of you saw it and if not it is in the pics. Trev gave Gram Dot the box and she said " I thought we weren't exchanging!?" I said "I didn't buy anything!!!!!!!!" So she and Grandpa proceeded to open it. As they lifted the tissue paper out she saw the canvas, scrapbooked clock. She brought it out so all could see. Her and Grandpa well, you could see the joy in there eyes and how they appreciate those gifts so much. Then of course Gram questions my gift to them and I recieve a bag from her.............. Hmmmmm Should she of questioned mine to her ? I think not. Anyway I opened the bag and there was a snowman, which was adorable and will fit in to my Snowman Room perfectly. I didn't notice anything else and said thanks so mush gram. She said there is something more. I dug down alittle deeper and there was a Santa. This Santa had a apron on with tools and a teddy Bear. A Carpenter Santa.

So without a warning..... I and Gram started to weep. I couldn't hold in the emotions. There was a room full of people and we both had tears rolling down our cheeks. Some could not say a thing and others started to get teary eyed. She then came over and hugged me. Well, for those who can relate. I started to more. She said to me " I got you that as a reminder and so you would never forget Grandpa" I would never forget Grandpa when he is gone. I cherish , love and appreciate all he has done for me throughoutmy life. SO, Besides my kids being so appreciate for what they have and got this year, That was the best gift ever.

I will always have something during Christmas even when he is gone to Cherish.
