THIS IS ON STAR / NO AIRBAG deployed

Lets remember these are early pics, It did get alot more sexy

Whewwwwwwwwwwww WE isn't that beautiful....? This story is an attachment of the night Trev was injured. So I had no idea he was hurt till the medical personel came to get me after the match. As any concerned panicked mother ( Ok maybe I am worse than some-most. I rushed to get my car in the back of the school and Had Trev wait by the front door. When I got up to run down the bleachers I just grabbed all my things in disarray. My purse was open, camera out of the bag hanging on my wrist, coat bearly under my arm. I rushed as fast as i could for that door and plowed through.
I was fumbling for my keys and couldn't find them for the life of me. So I put all my stuff on the ground next to the back door. I finally found the keys, pressed the auto unlock, rushed my hand to the handle grabbed and without looking obviously swung the door opened as fast as I could. Hmmmmmmmm lets see.......... First I felt as though I was gonna hit the ground, Next I felt like a cartoon when someone would use a fry pan, and the stars hit. finally since I was in such a frenzy I jsut got to my feet forgot about me and to the front I went. As Trev got in I put my hand to my head and said Oh God! that really hurt. As I brought my hand down I noticed blood. Suprising cause the cut was not huge.
Pete showed up got in and off we went. Not only did Trev get a ice bag at the hospital, but so did mom. So I am sure the blood immediatly started to pool. The 5 hours we sat it had time to fester. I asked how it looked at one point and Pete was like "Gezuz". He siad and I just thought you had really dark eyeshadow. Today the awesome coloring is gone, but I still have a eyebrow knot that hurst still when I rub my face or head without thinking.

Jolly Ole St. Nick

So the boys are now 12 & 13, but never too big for some St. Nick. Although obviously they know who the fat guy is....... ( well maybe not fat, but definately jolly ) they still look forward to it. They give not so subtle hints as to what they would enjoy. So before school they dig into their ( hmmmmmmmmmmm 2-3 ft ) huge stockings that grandpa pete made and find their goodies. They each got a movie they wanted. Ky loved his so much because he can't get enough of Will smith saying A-- H--- in Hancock. Trev got Step Brothers and I am actually going to watch it now with him and Pete. Here are some of our Morning joys. Don't mind Trev's I don't even know what to call it.

Anything to get out

Kyle was punished the other day for leaving his room a TOTAL mess. He had time in the morning before school to get it done, but sometimes ...... :/ his racing little mind gets distracted. Well, that morning happened to be another one of those mornings. I did not check before he left for the bus. I assumed he did at least a fair job. He was so convincing he was going to get right at it before my shower. After my shower I yelled to see how it was going and he said he was working on it.
Then when I walked by to drop off laundry to Trev's room. I did a double take to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was. Yet it still looked exactly the same as when I initially saw it. I mentioned it whne he came home. He gave this look like ( Oh ya!) and knew he was in the wrong. I am sure Trev on the computer or a number of other things took away the importance so he just decided to say I'll do it later. Little did he know that that wasn't going to cut it. You play you pay. Anyway he didn't complain at all and was going to take it with a grain of salt as usual. But....................................as soon as Peter and I talked about just shoveling instead of snowblowing. He said with the plan in sight. "Oh I'll do it "! As he shoveled I took some pics cause he was so damn cute. Although he offered he sure was giving some forced smiles of excitement.

Injured, but not out of touch

So as most of you who follow our family blog know, Trev is hurt. The start of his wrestling career cut short and smashed by a broken nose and collar bone. What the Orthopedic Doc says is a three month or more injury which may or maynot require a fixin. Although we say slight chance we still keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't come into play. As for right now he may be out of his regular wild routine, He does manage to stay in touch with the scene and circle of MANY friends. He sits sometimes at night texting 3 & 4 people at a time. We haven't gotten our bill this month but I can only imagine the nuber of texts. He says he is trying to beat Kyles at 1200 or so. We shall see.................Oh and Yes we do have unlimited. ( thank god)

Warrior

This one is pretty lengthy

It was Wednesday the 19th of November at 4PM. Trev's 1st Wrestling match ever with the opponent's being Greendale (Greenfields arch rivals), on their home mats. Trev had been practicing so hard and the coaches had been pretty impressed with his beginning ability. That in itself gave him more confidence than he had to begin with. He talked about all the moves he had learned nightly. He would come in all jacked up sharing and couldn't wait to show the tactics on Dear OLE dad. I was pretty impressed with his strength, when he picked up Pete and gave him a half heave ho in the kitchen one night. He was so excited not just get on the mat with teammates at practice, but to await the day he could go all out.

Well to get on with the story. There are usually 3 1 minute periods. Trev got injured in the 1st and did not lead on because he was doing well and on his way to winning the match. It was not only a match, but his very first one. So he continued to push on through the 2nd and 3rd. He ended up losing by 2 points even after trying so hard INJURED. Afterwards a teammate noticed his collar bones were lopsided. He then went out of the gym and I thought he was going for a drink. Well to my dismay he went to find a coach who then in turn sought out a medical person. I had no idea what was going on till she waved me from the stands. I saw the HUGE grimace on his face and knew right then and there something was very wrong. She told me that I would probably want to get him to the hospital. My throat felt like it hit the floor with a sandbag on top. So I had him wait for me at the front door and rushed to my car. I was struggling for keys on the ground by the back door and once I found them proceeded to open and slam my car door into my face. So to the front I go and Pete shows up. He parks his truck and off we go.

I will only say I was LESS than pleased with the staff on duty that night at Childrens. So after a Tylenol/Oxycontin pill, IV, Morphine, X-rays, infusion we were pretty much sent home with him still in excruciating pain and no answers as to why he was suffering. They said oh..... He does not have any broken collar bones. Ya! he probably cracked the bridge of his nose, but we can't do anything for that till the swelling goes down so it's no use in taking a X-ray of that.

Today we made a trip to the Orthopedic Doc and within a half hour and 2 X-rays. Yes Trev did break his collar bone in a place most don't. He also broke his nose and it will have to be straightened. He is in a big Velcro immobilizer and we have to go back the Monday after Thanksgiving. They will see how things are progressing and then they will make the decision if surgery is needed or not.

Unfortunately as you can probably guess. He is done for the season. He is very disappointed and I am sad for him. He so looked forward to kicking BUTT.

I do have to add that he called his coach and the coach along with others were like you are such a warrior for going through the last 2 periods with that pain. The coach admitted that he could of NEVER done it with that sort of injury. Here are the few pics I got. The movie is of the last period. He was awesome and you would of never knew he was hurt.

I LOVE THE STRENGTH AND PERSEVERANCE HE SHOWS.

HE MAKES US SO PROUD. (Our Warrior)

Long to Gone ...

Hummmmmmmm, For those of you who know Ky this will be a total suprise. After many a months and chit chats about taking care of the Long locks my Baby had. Kyle finally was told he was gonna get a cut. I went online and gave him options. It was the middle of last week and he was less than happy still about the upcoming Friday. When we finally got him to go in for trims and I had always taken and reassured him. He could trust me that I would not let anyone screw up, what took him so long to accomplish to make his own identity. In the past we have asked if he would want to cut it to the current styles of messy and semi long. He never cared what people thought and for that I am so glad for his own independence and self confidence. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Here are jsut a few of the many I took at the Salon. Lekisha who has been his gal did a great job and I was not the only one who came out happy. As soon as we got home he had to load the pics to his myspace. Ohhhhhhhhhh did he get the pic comments one right after another ( from Girls) " "Ouuuuuuuuuuu you have a sexy haircut"
"You are so Hawt"
" I am single"I am single Etc.
He had a smile from ear to ear. The girls loved him before the cut, but now he and his bangin bod ( as he says) and hair, he is the man! He loves his new look. I said to him " See Ky I told you I would never let you down with your cuts and styles that would look good on you" He grinned and said "Yep Mom THANKS!"
So here are a few of the many pics I took. You would of thought it was his very firs haircut
YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!

Well the Season has officially have ended. Trev had his banquet on Wednesday. It was very nice even though it was in the highschool lunchroom. It was for the 6th 7th and 8th grade players. The coaches get up first and speak and it go's in the order of lower grades first. The coaches do a little schpeel and then hand out trophies and then any awards that the special teams and MVP guys win. They had a Italian theme buffet and of course sweets. Trev recieved a trophy for being a team leader. Trev has recieved an award all three years which makes him feel good and proud of his accomplishments. He can't wait for next year in HIGHSCHOOL ( gosh I feel old). For right now to stay in shape and build up he has joined wrestling. so pics are to come.

River Edge Nature Center

I know it has been awhile since my last post, but life is just plain busy. I have enough to sit down and check mail and reply to some of those. Plus I don't always have pics ( I know you can't believe that)
Anyway on Novemeber 3rd I accompanied Ky on a field trip. Yes, he is 7th grade and I know alot of other kids, boys and girls who would be like NO WAY! It is now that it means so much when you can do something like this. They are not getting any younger and as of right now my boys are still happy for me to be a part of things. Even Trev doesn't mind. I have to say not blowing my own horn or anything, but his friends too would not mind it.
Ky brought home the sheet and we chatted about it. I can't remember if he asked or I offered but it was decided I would chaperone. There has been plenty of field trips I signed up for in the past that was unable to go. The teacher said that they picked names out of a hat. It just so happenes it was always the same parents..... Fancy That!
So having this opportunity was really nice and I was pretty excited. I would go on any and all if I could. Oooooooo the kindergarten days.....
So this field trip was great and it was an all dayer with Beautiful weather. The kids did data collecting from wet and dry lands. They took soil samples, found bugs and compared the two for a written assignment at school. Ky had 2 other boys that he worked with, but all together in my group there was 10 I think. There was not really anything to speak of at the shop there but I did buy my three guys and mud rock that you can melt away chip away the outter and find a gem inside. It was nothing great, but they appreciated it.
All in all we learned and experimented and I watched and shared the day with my little man.
